Print Directory Listing for Vista/XP
PDL Vista/XP adds "Print Directory Listing" to the right click menu of a drive
or folder. It will open notepad and list the drive or folders contents in three
sections. Regular files, hidden files, and reparse points last.
NOTE: Printing the directory listing of an entire drive can create a very large
text file listing the drives entire contents. Long delays with a DOS window only
can be caused by this action. Older slower computers will have this delay
magnified.
Print Directory Listing for Vista/XP began as a small batch file found on a
microsoft site that was designed to print a simple directory listing when
executed. I modified this batch file (C:\windows\printdir.bat) until I got it
like I needed it then integrated the necessary registry entries into an
installer package that can be installed and uninstalled.
